ASRock อัปเดต BIOS เมนบอร์ด AMD AM4 ชิปเซ็ต B550, A520 และเมนบอร์ด Intel ชิปเซ็ต H610, B760, H810, B860
ASRock ประกาศอัปเดต BIOS เมนบอร์ดทั้งเมนบอร์ด AMD และเมนบอร์ด Intel โดยทางฝั่ง AMD ก็จะมีสองชิปเซ็ตหลักคือ B550 และ A520 ที่เป็นของซ็อกเก็ต AM4 แต่ AMD ยังคงทำตลาดอย่างต่อเนื่องในฐานะของแพลตฟอร์มราคาประหยัด ในส่วนของฝั่ง Intel ก็มีการอัปเดตทั้งซ็อกเก็ตรุ่นเก่าอย่าง LGA 1200 และซ็อกเก็ตใหม่ LGA 1851 ด้วยเช่นกัน
มาดูรายละเอียดของเมนบอร์ดทางฝั่ง AMD ก่อนครับ จากตารางเราจะเห็นคำว่า “Update Secure Boot Key (2023 KEK/DB/PK)” ซึ่งหมายถึงการอัปเดตชุดกุญแจดิจิทัลที่ใช้ในระบบ Secure Boot เพื่อเพิ่มความปลอดภัยในการบูตเครื่อง โดยมีรายละเอียดดังนี้
Secure Boot เป็นฟีเจอร์ในระบบ UEFI BIOS ที่ช่วยป้องกันไม่ให้ระบบบูตจากซอฟต์แวร์ที่ไม่ได้รับการรับรองหรือมีลายเซ็นดิจิทัลไม่ถูกต้อง เช่น มัลแวร์หรือ OS ที่ถูกแก้ไข ส่วนตัวย่อ KEK / DB / PK คือ 3 ประเภทของกุญแจหลัก:

ส่วนทางฝั่งเมนบอร์ดของ Intel ก็ไม่มีอะไรมากครับ ส่วนใหญ่ก็คือปรับปรุงความเข้ากันได้ของระบบซึ่งมักจะเน้นไปที่การรองรับ RAM รุ่นใหม่ ๆ หรือแก้ไขการเข้ากันได้กับ RAM บางรุ่นบางยี่ห้อ ที่เปิด XMP แล้วไม่สามารถบูตได้ เป็นต้น นอกจากนี้ก็จะมีการอัปเดตไมโครโค้ดบางรุ่น ซึ่งเป็นการอัปเดตความปลอดภัยของระบบ
